Housing Development
Collaboration with Community Development Corporations RRC is a founding member of the Metropolitan Atlanta Community Development Corporation (MACDC), which is a collaborative housing production entity. RRC worked together with other local community development corporations to design this innovative and improved method of developing affordable housing. By working together through MACDC, the community development corporations are able to increase the efficiency and scale of affordable housing development. The community development corporations such as RRC acquire property and obtain development financing, then they work through MACDC on the housing construction. The community development corporations then handle the property sales. The start-up of MACDC was funded and supported by Enterprise Community Partners.
Development with other Partners RRC has developed affordable housing with numerous partners in the past – including partners from the private, non-profit and public sectors. These noteworthy developments include Amberwood Village, Reynoldstown Square, Reynoldstown Commons and multiple single family homes. RRC will continue to create these type of productive partnerships for the purpose of increasing the availability of affordable housing.
